is an international entrepreneur and angel investor. He co-founded West Suburban Angels, is the chairman of the Zhu Holdings Group Company, and Jiangsu Full Cell Energy Technologies. He’s a partner in Smart Health Activator, a biotech accelerator in North Chicago, and is on the board of Cooper China R&D. Presently he splits time between the US and China, as he serves as a venture advisor, and M&A agent to numerous public Chinese companies, and funds through his M&A advisory firm, Red Frey Ventures. Tianyi is a proverbial serial entrepreneur getting his start at the age of 19, when he founded Life&Qi, an alternative medicine company that operated through partnerships with companies in China. He’s since then founded several others, and has recorded one successful exit. He’s been a board member to several not-for-profits, and is the current US representative for the Chinese Welfare Population Foundation which reports to the Minister of Civil Affairs. He was recently a University of Illinois Alumni Association: UIAAAN Featured Alumni, and recently received the honor of 2015 Mandarin Leader for Entrepreneurship. In his personal life, Tianyi is a professional boxer, has competed in the 2008 Chinese Olympic Trials, trained with the Chinese National Team, and was a IKF Amateur Thai Boxing World Champion.
